Dr. Pamela (Fera) Tola is a lifetime resident of Hamilton Square, New Jersey. She graduated from Steinert High School and completed her undergraduate degree at Trenton State College. She attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, which is now known as Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. After completing her doctorate and residency training in Philadelphia, she returned to her hometown of Hamilton Square to begin her practice. She resides in Hamilton with her husband, Sam Tola and her 2 children, Matthew and Samantha.
For more than 15 years, Dr. Pamela Tola has been dedicated to providing the best in comprehensive foot and ankle care for families in the Mercer and Bucks County areas. Dr. Tola is a board certified podiatrist with extensive training by the prestigious Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and some of the nation's most respected podiatric specialists in care of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Tola treats all types of foot and ankle problems and all ages - from infants to seniors. However, her true passion is helping those patients with complicated foot and ankle disorders. She has extensive training in treating all types of foot problems in patients with diabetes who are suffering with slow healing sores, numbness, tingling and burning sensations of the feet and legs. Other areas of expertise are chronic heel pain, complicated arthritic foot and ankle conditions, as well as sport related injuries, such as tendonitis, tendon tears, stress fractures and broken bones.
Foot care is more than easing the pain of a corn, a callus or a sore toe. The foot is a unique part of our body that has 26 bones, 33 joints and 107 ligaments, all assembled with an amazing network of muscles, nerves, blood vessels and skin. Our feet take a daily pounding of 8,000 to 10,000 steps, which can lead to walking over 100,000 miles in a lifetime. Our feet are an important part of our body and deserve specialized care by podiatrists committed to this specialized field of medicine. Foot pain can keep a person of any age from enjoying an active lifestyle, whether you are a child with painful flatfeet who is not able to run without discomfort in gym class, to a young teenager with painful bunions, or a high school athlete who suffers a from a recurring tendonitis of the ankle. Foot care in any age group can make the difference between enjoying life, or if foot problems lead to immobility, no life. Proper foot care can mean life or death to someone with diabetes or heart disease. It's more than simple foot care; it's about preventative medicine, keeping you active and healthy, and in some cases, saving limbs and lives.
When you combine Dr. Tola's extensive training with her compassion for her patients and her love for education, you get a special place dedicated to helping you and your family get the special foot and ankle care that you deserve. We promise to listen to your needs, inform you of innovative treatment options and create your individualized care plan - all in a comfortable, efficient setting that makes your family feel right at home! Our goal is to keep you moving forward!
