Appointment Scheduling Policies

Reserving Your Time Slot
Our office staff will inquire about your type of foot, ankle or leg ailment when scheduling your appointment in order to provide you with an adequate amount of time with our doctors for your specific type of evaluation. We will reserve a time slot for you. Please be prompt for your appointment and arriving 10 minutes earlier if you are providing changes in your personal information and/or health insurance changes. Please remember to always bring your insurance cards and an updated list of your medications and medical history.

Rescheduling or Canceling Appointments 
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible or, at least 24 hours before your appointment time. This gives us an opportunity to offer your reserved time slot to another patient who is in need of an urgent care appointment. We recommend rescheduling your appointment at the time of cancellation, in order to provide you with the earliest available opening that is convenient for your schedule. We try to avoid the need for urgent care appointments by planning ahead. We find we can accommodate your appointment requests much easier if scheduled at the time of cancellation, rather than later as an urgent care appointment, especially in the case of patients with diabetes and/or circulation problems that require at-risk foot care treatments and wound care.

Leaving Messages For Our Doctors and Office Staff 
If you contact our office regarding an appointment or have an urgent need to speak with the doctor or an office staff, please provide us with as much information as you can regarding the reason for your call. The more information, the more efficiently we can handle your call. We will attempt to return your call within 30 minutes. There are times that we may need to delay your call until after patient hours are completed and we will relay this message to you. However, if you do not hear from us within 30 minutes, please accept our apology in advance, and contact us again. It is our goal to provide our patients with the efficient service that we, ourselves, expect from our own healthcare providers.
